2026’s Princess and Queen
Meet Grace May and Leila Devins
Grace May, an eighth grader at Eagle County Charter Academy, has called Eagle County home since she was three years old. A lifelong horse enthusiast, Grace proudly competes in a variety of equestrian disciplines, including Western and English riding, barrel racing, pole bending, and other speed events. For the past four years, she has also been an active member of the Freedom Riders and currently serves as Club Treasurer. When she is not on horseback, Grace stays busy with lacrosse, volleyball, skiing, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. She is poised to graduate from ECCA in the spring of 2026. She plans to attend a local high school before eventually pursuing higher education at a Southern university, where she hopes to major in business and animal science. Grace is thrilled to help promote the Eagle County Fair and Rodeo this year, dedicating herself to preserving and celebrating our rich western heritage.
Leila Devins is a senior at Battle Mountain High School. Growing up in Eagle County she has been riding horses her whole life and shows both western and hunter/jumper as well as participating in local gymkhanas and rodeos. She has been an active member of 4H since 2017 where she has shown her horse in all disciplines and joined the Freedom Riders Drill Team in 2022. When she isn’t riding her horses Leila spends time outside, volunteering at local organizations, and baking. She plans to finish high school at Battle Mountain before attending college to study equine sciences. Leila is excited to represent the Eagle County Fair and Rodeo and promote western heritage throughout her reign as the 2026 Rodeo Queen.
