Meet Allie Gallegos and Leila Devins
Leila Devins is a junior at Battle Mountain High School. Growing up in Eagle County she has been riding horses her whole life and shows both western and hunter/jumper as well as participating in local gymkhanas and rodeos. She has been an active member of 4H since 2017 where she has shown her horse in all disciplines and joined the Freedom Riders Drill Team in 2022. When she isn’t riding her horses Leila spends time outside, volunteering at local organizations, and participating in the National English Honors Society. She plans to finish high school at Battle Mountain before attending college. Leila is excited to represent the Eagle County Fair and Rodeo and promote western heritage throughout her reign as the 2025 Rodeo Queen.
Allie Gallegos is a sophomore at Eagle Valley High School, she was born in and raised in Colorado. she has been an active member of 4-h since 2019 and has been riding horses her whole life including participating in local Gymkhanas. Allie plays lacrosse for her high school team. She shows horses and has been member of the Freedom Riders Drill team since 2023. When she’s not riding her horses she loves to spend time with family and friends. Allie hopes to finish her time at Eagle Valley then continue in her education, she has a passion for helping animals and would like to be a veterinarian. Allie loves her community and loves spreading the traditions of the western way of life.
