2024’s Princess and Queen
Meet Sawyer Shaw and Aubrey Winstead

Aubrey Winstead is a Senior at Eagle Valley High School. Growing up in Eagle County, she has been an active member of 4-H for the past 13 years; showing horses, goats, lambs, poultry, her dog, Charlie and spent several years learning how to sew. Aubrey is also an 8 year member of the Freedom Riders Drill team and is on the leadership council for Eagle County 4-H. She is a competitive equestrian, riding with the Interscholastic Equestrian Association and shows her horse “Parlay” in AQHA shows around the state of Colorado. Aubrey plans to attend Colorado State University in Fall 2024 to study Apparel Design and Merchandising. Aubrey loves her hometown community of Eagle Colorado and is grateful to represent the Eagle County Fair and Rodeo as their 2024 Rodeo Queen.

Sawyer Shaw is an 8th grader at Eagle Valley Middle School. She is proud to have called Eagle, Colorado home for her entire life. Sawyer has been around and riding horses for her entire life and has been an active member of the 4-H community since she was eight. Sawyer has been showing in western classes and helping out with rodeos in the summer. She is an accomplished basketball player leading both her school and club teams in points, rebounds, and assists. She shows pigs, goats, and horses in the local 4-H shows. Sawyer is an active part of her community where she spreads her love of the western way of life with children and adults.
